Well y’all it’s getting close to March and it is 72 degrees out side and I , for one am super disappointed in the utter lack of any measurable snow fall ! I love snow like a crazy person. Drives me crazy………. I do have a new piece of furniture to share with ya’ll.
So here’s the the next victim ya’ll……..
So as it turns out this piece is a find. This BIG oak chest is a vintage Link Taylor chest of drawers. Plus it’s in great shape!
When it came to the hardware for this one I knew I wanted something timeless.I I used the same cup pulls in different colors. These drawers are big and heavy. These cup pulls can handle the weight.
The only thing not manly about this piece is the black and white toile wallpaper in the drawers. Ya’ll know I love me some black and white.
Ya’ll I wish that you could see this one in person. It is a VERY large piece of furniture. I chose General Finishes Lamp Black. for the lower drawers. I have loved this color for years and I also love the fact that the finish on this will be matte black.
It took me some time to find the right pulls for this piece. I can make a mess out of hardware in a heartbeat ya’ll , hand to God. I ordered 4 different sets of drawer pulls, all of which went straight back to Amazon. Because of the size I did not want small or fragile pulls. When I found these cup pulls I knew simple cup pulls in black and bronze would do nicely!
Just love this dog y’all!

It’s a little twist on classic! And the paper adds a bit of fancy.
You’ve been gone too long. I was concerned. Hope you & Big Daddy are well..
