Ya’ll it has really been a minute since I have touched base with ya’ll. We are knee deep in clearing out my Mom’s house. This has been a long and somewhat painful ordeal. I will not go in to all of the details. Anyone who has ever lost a parent knows is hard enough . I still have my Dad even though he is in a facility. I have slowly been moving pieces of my Mamma’s antiques that I am not at all interested in down to my shop. She was a HUGE collector of antiques……. on a grand scale. There is this struggle within me, Keep vs. sell . It is a day to day battle. Today I am taking a break from this mess and trying to clear my brain. I always say nothing nothing lasts forever.
Today’s Victim
She is a beauty ……. with a LOT of veneer damage …….just the way I like it. We can’t ever find something that perfect y’all. Truth be told, this pieced had me at Hello.
I chose Melange Paints Nirvana, a lovely greenish blue color. The glass knobs are from Hobby Lobby and would have been common hardware. I just love this color! It is such a lovely color!
And then after dark ……………
I love this set of white pumpkins! They look and feel like concrete .
They came from Walmart if you are interested.
Much love !
Paige

You have been missed!
It is a heart wrenching task cleaning out a parent’s house. It’s emotionally & physically draining.
But girl, you did an outstanding job with this piece.
One thing though, how about the paper inside the drawers?

What a great piece, Paige!! And I love the color!! You always do a wonderful job. I’m so sorry to learn that you lost your mom. I lost mine 19 years ago, and I still miss her. It’s very tough going through things and deciding what to keep. I’ll keep you in my prayers that God will help you through this tough time.

Sheryl this has been the hardest thing that I have ever been through. I think I just lost it for some time. But if you have a Mama eventually you gave to go through it. Thank you for your kind words.
