Hey guys!
I hope ya’ll are having a lovely Saturday wherever you are. Here in Western North Carolina the weather is gorgeous and a baby black bear just came walking through the back yard gardens like he owned it! Cutest thing I have EVER seen in my life :))))))). So yesterday I pick up a really nice piece of furniture super close to where we live and true to Paige Form……… flew straight in on it !
Good bones on this one ……$50
I could not help myself……..
And the AFTER :)))))))))
It is so refreshing to just work on a piece of furniture that does not have anything wrong with it ya’ll. And that is a luxury for me. I just took my time and really enjoyed the process from picking the paint color and the wood stain to the pull and the wallpaper. This was a very relaxing project. I chose a medium gray paint color for this piece, Melange paints Renegade. In my opinion it is a neutral. I wanted the top to be the show.
The top turned out really good , much better that the original finish. Now you can actually appreciate the woodgrain. I sanded down the top and then restrained it with Minwax Provincial. I sealed the top with three coats of General Finishes Arm-R-SEAL . I love this stuff!
For just having that one single drawer I did want to dress it up a bit.
Sweet little legs ya’ll!
Have a great week ya’ll
