Hey ya’ll!
I hope all of ya’ll are doing well. So sorry for my absence. We have been working on our house over the past 2 months. You would think that we are finished with it, but no. Next up on the house list is drainage ……… God help us all. We will be hiring out the drainage / re landscaping job . We are too old and broke down to do this……..plus we know our limits, we don’t have all of their equipment and it rains all the damn time around here. PS: The place is looking so much better!
So today I want to share a piece that I am super in love with. I bought a VERY well priced dining table from a very nice family before Thanksgiving……….and it has sat out in the garage ever since. It was solid oak and the legs are to die for, but I never could make myself start work on it in the Winter. So two weeks ago me and Big Daddy gave that table a new life. As an aside, the stain was so dark and thick it took me a beat to actually see that it was oak, heavy HEAVY oak.
See what I mean?
Lord I wanted to keep this one so bad! So here’s the skinny on the table. We sanded down the entire table and all for of those incredible legs and then sealed the with 3 coats of of General Finishes Arm-R-Seal.
Period.
This table has two drawers in it, one at each end. So in my crazy little head, that’s just a good place for some fun wallpaper!
It lasted two whole days: ))))
I’m working on a really fun Empire piece currently.
Give me a few days on this one.
Much love to ya’ll!
Paige

In a word: GORGEOUS! Just gorgeous. And perfectly styled with the most lovely accessories. No surprise it sold instantly. Can’t wait for the next piece!

Leslie it did sting a bit when I left it at the shop. You might remember I used to refinish dining tables like crazy. I’m not sure why I stopped😳😳😳
