This is one that does not have to cure cancer ya’ll…… if you do not over think it.
Solid oak and orange as it can be. But on the bright side? It was $10 for solid oak ya’ll. Problem #1 is I hate orange wood so I knew right then and there that I need to get rid of the original stain. I sanded down the top of the table and low and behold got that the orange outa there :))). I chose to use a darker stain this time around and re stained the top with Minwax Jacobean.
I have been saving a set of wooden knobs that I ran across in Marshals a couple years ago. I have saved them all this time. I wanted the knobs to be the the bow on top of a special piece.
This was the piece ya’ll.
I painted the body of the piece a cream color . I had multiple bits of cream paint left over from different pieces so I mixed them all together and this began the color.
The book is a vintage copy of Gone With The Wind
