Ya’ll !
I am so excited to show ya’ll this easy , inexpensive and lovely Christmas DIY ornament ! As we all know, I am blonde, literally and figuratively . Last year I saw a post on Instagram about making Christmas ornaments from clothespins. No joke. So I filed it away in my Pinterest account……. and now ’tis the season again.
Lord how beautiful are these snowflakes?
So today I am going to share with ya’ll what I did with a GOB of Dollar Tree clothespins myself.
The first thing I did was remove the metal spring from ALL the clothespins .
Just twist them.
Seriously.
And you are left with these two wood pieces.
So this is where it gets tricky .
When making your snowflake you can go one of two ways design ways:
or
So either way, you need to hot glue the wood clothespins together and then hot glue a bunch more.
This is what I chose to do…….
I did find myself picking out the clothespins with the darker grain in them to use. I love the contrast it gives.
Have fun!
