Now…….. weren’t we just discussing this???
And low and be hold a really nice one landed in my lap…….. for $50.
Once again this is the Facebook Marketplace actual photo. And in no way , shape or form does this represent how much patching, sanding and painting that was needed to finish this thing.
Hand to God , I can not lay off these things………
Sometimes I wonder if it’s the hardware.
I think I just loose my mind when I see them . These particular pulls were in good shape, no rust , etc. I did want to make more of a statement with them so I used Rub ‘ N Buff on them in the color Europe Gold to show them off a bit.
Can ya’ll also tell that I really love a good leaning gallery wall? I get the majority of my prints as instant downloads from Etsy and have them printed at OfficeMax near my house. I want them larger that our printer at home can do. This way I purchase the frames once and just rotate the the prints usually seasonally. The frames are the most expensive anyway. I’ve been doing this for years.
The drawer liner was is so fun! I picked a really loud and colorful peel and stick wallpaper because this big Ould dress is really one color . Big Daddy always gives me his two cents and he does not at all like this paper . I am of the mind that it looks great. In my opinion the drawer liners should be less serious and colorful.
I used a new to me product on the top of this dresser, Varathane fast drying wood satin in the shade Briar Smoke. This is a grayish brown color and I am still on the fence about it. It was very easy to apply and did dry quickly.
Currently I have four other finished pieces to share with ya’ll!
I will be working on those blog posts later this week.
