I am learning that a little bit of Boho goes a long way in a room.
Kinda like horseradish .
PS? I like horseradish ……. if I don’t know that I’m eating it.
I found this maple chest at my local Goodwill for $30. At least thought it was was maple. It was SO orange that I couldn’t confirm the wood type till I sanded all the orange stain off one of those drawers.
The grain of this piece is amazing!
Personally I love maple and grab it anytime I can get it. I used Melange One Paint on this one and I gotta say this green is just beautiful! I am very partial to greens that have just a bit of yellow in them. This green does that.
I chose a Champagne Bronze bar pull for this project, With that BIG mandala right smack in the middle of the piece I didn’t want hardware that would compete . The pulls are sleek and almost subtle which is just enough bling. I’m not sure if you can tell but the drawer pulls look super classy.
I uses a cream floral wallpaper for the drawers. Ya’ll may remember it. I used the same paper with a green background on a pair of green bedsides. I am positive that ya’ll know that I am absolutely obsessed with drawer liners. I really enjoy putting the whole vibe together.
Here’s something we’ve never done before:
chest $30
paint $20 used 1/3 of the paint
Pulls $15 used all of them
wallpaper $23 used entire roll
wood stain $8 didn’t make a dent in it.
What your are left with: several supplies for your next DIY and a really nice piece of furniture.

That piece came out sooo good! I love it. Is the mandala a stencil? May I ask where you got it? Thanks! Here’s the link to it : https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07WJLBN8J?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image
