Sometimes when you first meet someone you are usually on your best behavior. When I meet people for the first time, I am on guard. When I meet people for the first time that are involved with someone I love dearly ? I am on High Alert. Just Sayin’. The reason for this is I take friendship uber seriously. Ya’ll need to know this about me for this story to make any sense.
Today’s Victim ya’ll.
Rock Maple all the way. I come by these on FB Marketplace and as it turns out they were almost in my actual neighborhood. They young lady I got them from was just as nice as can be and the price was right, $50 for the pair. These maple tables din not even have so much as a ding on them! That’s really rare in my budget range. By the time I was back in my driveway I knew what I was going to do with them.
I know some of ya’ll are not fans of the Boho stuff but how cute and fun are these? I almost kept them for my damn self! They are so cute and fun and functional. But in all honesty they need to go to someone who really loves them.
I used Fusion Mineral Paint’s Midnight Blue. It is a classic very dark navy blue. You may remember it. I have used it a lot.
When it was time to line the drawers I layed out every single wallpaper that would even remotely go with the dark blue paint. Then I mulled it over for a couple of days.
I ultimately settled on this one.
So it all comes down to this……
Two people I love very much are starting a life together.
My little tables will be part of that life.
That means the world to me.

What a lovely story –! I love how you started this post. And without even meeting you, I GET that you go on high alert in that situation!! You don’t mess around with the surface stuff-you get right to the heart of it!
These little tables are beautiful, with or without the detail on the drawer. How good it must feel to hand them to someone you love and care about! And no, I’m not really a fan of boho; give me a mix of cottage and traditional all day long! Hugs to the kitties!
