My philosophy when it comes to styling the rooms in my house is simple: a little good design goes a long way. No need to cram everything possible in to that space. The bonus with this approach is your bank account is not wiped out because you went nuts in the TJ Maxx. This especially applies to the ever-changing decor trends that come and go. Today I want to share with ya’ll the latest piece that I just finished a couple days ago.
Now she is a pretty thing, but a busy thing. If you add other busy things all around her she will 1. become second fiddle and 2. not be the star of the show. Make sense? I am loving the Boho stye and the decor that goes along with it. too me it is a breath of fresh air……… but I have yet to bring any of it in to my home.
These last few pieces that I have refinished do have me thinking about it though.
This appears to be a handmade table. And the I really love the original knobs. At first I thought they might not work with the plan that I had for the draw fronts but I am really like the combination . I found the stencil on Amazon for $9 with free shipping. There were 6 different stencils in the pack.
The table itself was a $10 find at my Goodwill ya’ll.
I spent $30 in there that day and walked out with three tables. She is the first of the bunch.
I did struggles with with the paper to line the drawer. I wanted it to be sort of special as there was only one drawer. I had black & white on my mind at first, but when I went through all the wallpaper I had on hand I chose the coral and green one. I am not sure why I waited so long to start lining the drawers of the pieces of furniture that I have refinished. The drawer liners are like cherry on top.
One more……..
Ya’ll have a great weekend!

Paige, I’m not so much into the Boho style, but I must admit I really like this little cutie! Maybe it’s the stencil design or how the background color blends so well with the top. In any case, it’s a very cute piece that will probably fly out of your shop! Great job!
