Hello ya’ll!
I wanted to share a REALLY easy project for s Christmas wreath. I made the mistake of thinking I would just run in and out of Hobby Lobby for nothing in particular. BIG JOKE! That place was just about wall to wall Christmas! Now we all know that I love, LOVE Christmas so needless to say I was in there for some time. I am not usually a frequent flyer on the artificial floral pick aisle but I found something that intrigued even me.
This is cream colored white Poinsettia made from felt. They also carry them in a gorgeous deep red felt. As I don’t use much red these days the cream ones were my choice.
The MDF wreath form I found at Michaels for about $7. As the poinsettias are attached to floral pics, I had to use one of Big Daddy’s tools to cut pic off of each stem, leaving about half an inch of the stem so the the flower would not fall apart. I hot glued each poinsettia all the way around the wreath taking great care to overlap them just enough to make a full wreath, but not an overcrowded mess.
Aside from glitter all over the kitchen I am in love with this wreath ya’ll! It is just perfect for the big mirror in our dining room!
Yep!
The magnolia has made it’s first appearance ya’ll!
much love to all!
