I’ve been slowly adding some Fall touches to our home over the past couple of weeks and we are really enjoying it. In the past several months our home has just not been a priority . It all started with the mantel in our living room and a rabbit hole called Etsy…….
I have nice collection of frames in several different wood tones, black and gold that I rotate the prints in . I prefer to purchase inexpensive printable art from Etsy . They have a WIDE variety to choose from so if you go down that rabbit hole. ……… it’s best to have a drink and a lawn chair. Just sayin’………
It all started with the Halloween print. I thought it was fun but my frame was bigger than the print. So in true Paige fashion I rummaged around and found a piece of black plaid peel and stick wallpaper and that solved that problem. I found the big SPOOKY black horse head next . He really is a beauty! The pencil drawing of the raven was icing on the cake!
I am really enjoying this green dresser ya’ll! It is such a fun piece to style. The quail print got the same wallpaper treatment :). A few white pumpkins, antlers and a pumpkin candle round out the composition.
I shared this ginger candle on Instagram a couple weeks ago. It’s quite masculine. The only way I can describe the scent is to say that it smells like a good looking man.
Seriously ………
Here’s a few more photos.
I hope all of ya’ll are happy and well and enjoying this Fall weather!

Love the autumn styling, but I don’t think the horse image is spooky at all! As a horseperson, I’ve seen a number of similar poses in paintings and photos and they’re lovely. (I’m sure he/she would be happy to remain on display for a while as it’s now fox hunting season in some regions, and the annual Breeders’ Cup championships are Nov 5-6 in California this year.) Cheers!

Leslie I was thinking Headless Horseman😂😂😂. He didn’t have a mate but I’m looking on Etsy to find him one. You know me and black & white 😍

Ah, yes…here’s a link to an image from Etsy of my favorite Headless Horseman image. It’s from a Wedgwood ashtray (now sold) made for Sleepy Hollow Restorations, the organization that maintains and operates several historic sites in North Tarrytown (now Sleepy Hollow), NY, including author Washington Irving’s home, Sunnyside. (I have one just like this that I got for my mom when I was a 7th grade student on class field trip to Sunnyside many decades ago.)
Not sure if the link will work here, but here it is:

Paige….this is what I get for staying away so long. I am heart-broken to hear about your father, although it seems things have evened out a bit. I hope you are able to be with him as much as you possibly can. I loved reading about how much of him is in your heart and what a huge role he has played in your life. I have always enjoyed your posts about your visits with him, and am remembering posts about crazy delicious lunches and pedicures! The blog can wait; we are clearly all supporting you and sending healing thoughts for your Dad you as you travel down this path so many of us already have. (But I know we will all appreciate periodic updates!)
I’m cheered to read of your delight in your screen porch; from the pictures it looks like you’re sitting in your very own tree house !! BIG surprise that the cats are so taken with it!
In May we moved from San Diego to Fort Wayne, IN. We purchased a home (while staying in an apartment) and will finally be moving in within the next 30 days. To say the purchase and renovation work has been time-consuming is an understatement!! I”m just so happy to finally be getting settled.
Sending huge amounts of love, hugs and support to you all!

Kristine I love you dearly! I do wish you lived in a closer area code so we could actually hang out. We are all settling in to our new normal, including my Dad. The nursing facility was locked down for a number of week because of covid but about 3 weeks ago the open it back up for visitors. My Dad has absolutely settled in and appears to be comfortable. More over , he appears well taken care of. Thank you so much for your kind words!
