This ain’t looking good.
I did however manage to finish up one of 4 furniture projects this weekend.
Here’s the before:
How sweet are theses two dolls???? I had them tucked way back in the far corner of our dining room and Big Daddy never knew they were there until the first one was finished 😁. I got them off Facebook Marketplace for $30 from a nice young couple in Asheville. No surprise here, the curves on that bottom shelves were what sucked me in, plus the added bonus of cool original brass hardware

Urban Bronze is Sherwin Williams 2021 color of the year. It is a gorgous warm dark gray.
I had this color mixed at Lowes in their Valspar Cabinet & Furniture paint that I am currently obsessed with . The durability and self leveling properties are superb.
For those tops I decided on Minwax Jacobean .
From a business standpoint I can not stress enough how nice it is to have cool original hardware on a piece. You can very easily blow you budget on knobs and pulls. These brass ring pulls were perfect!
I chose a Waverly wallpaper for the drawer liners. The gray background color is a really close match to paint. It also has some gold and brown in it as well.
