Ya’ll…….
You can now walk through our garage without fear of certain death.
I am crappin’ ya’ll negative !!! And here’s a little extra bit of information: there is a Giant Porta John on the patio, right in front of our dining room windows !!!!! I can not make this crap up. We are just about to start a BIG project out back that I have waited years for. More on that in a few weeks.
Today’s victim’s:
Do you see that snake tail???
I lucked up on a pair of these IKEA pine side tables/ bedsides a while back through a FB Marketplace ad. Now, I love me some IKEA. My house is full of it, plus I love to paint some when I can find it. These are newer, in great shape and have a single adjustable shelf. I got them from a really nice lady just down the road a bit from me with the most beautiful home and garden! True to form, I had a color in my crazy little head before I left the lady’s driveway. I just had to get a little creative…….. which I never mind 🙂
I am still in search of what I would consider the perfect gray in the Fusion Mineral Paint line. So far every single gray I have tried pulls blue, if that makes any sense at all. I really like a gray that pulls taupe to brown. That’s just my particular taste. I think bit of brown makes for a warmer gray , whereas blue lends toward a cooler color. So for this particular pair of tables I mixed 3 parts Soapstone (which ya’ll have seen) with one part Lichen . Lichen is hardhardhard to photograph. It’s a silvery green, similar to celery. Alas, the result is a little less blue in my gray.
Good. God. this is getting crazy……..even for me!
There used to be this amazing antique hardware store on Orange Blossom Trail in Florida. Just before it closed they had one hell of a sale. I bought a gob of stuff from them and these fancy pulls were part of that haul. They don’t go with a lot of stuff but when I can use them they look great!
I chose an olive bloom paper from Society6. The grays and greens compliment these tables really well. Here’s the link to that particular paper:

Ya’ll I’m pretty sure that I am on a list somewhere at Society6. I can not lay off ordering this paper! The corner by the china cabinet it piled high with it……..
Have a lovely evening,
Paige

Pamela I am so sorry about your Mama! This COVID is a mess. Thank you for your sweet comments and yes everyone at my shop, including shoppers must wear a mask and follow directions while they are in there. Per our governor it opened two weeks ago.
