Ooooooooooooo Christmas………
It is almost here!
Today I wanted to share our living room all dressed up for Christmas :))))
The big pine armoire is the first thing you see as you enter our living room. I hung one of our cable knit stocking from the doors and added a moss covered wreath to the collection of things on top.
Usually I struggle with our mantel this time of the year but it actually come together very easily.
I used all live greenery on our mantel, a mix of Frasier Fur, Cedar, Long Nettle Pine and Cypress. I have to tell ya’ll the smell is absolutely heaven! The moment you open our front door the scent just welcomes you in. We are soooo enjoying it! The mercury glass tree collection started out as a single thrifted one from Goodwill for $4 that I found over the Summer. The next 2 came from Michaels as they went on sale. The grapevine cones I got last year also from Michaels. I chose an asymmetrical arrangement over our fireplace by accident. I thought I would pick up one more mercury glass piece but never came across one I loved.
I really think it’s perfect as is.
The Santa was a gift from my Dad years ago.
I love his little olive corduroy coat!
We enjoy keeping things simple and natural.
Like this big fat pinecone with the silver tips.
The Mistletoe sign was a digital file I got from an Etsy shop for under $5. One of the color options was this gorgeous olive green color . I was sold the second I saw it.
I can not say enough about the Reindeer ya’ll! I am so glad I found him, also on Etsy. He looks so good against the gray painted walls. He is just magical to me !
Green is my accent color of choice in the living room year round. At Christmas I drag out my olive velvet pillows for the couch. The green and white toile throw was another thrifted find and has quickly become a favorite of mine…….and the kittens!
Thanks so much stopping in to see me and our home decorated for the season!
Merry Christmas!
Paige
