A Few Holiday Finds

Ya’ll we hauled out some of our Christmas stuff this weekend!!!!!!!

We have never, in 30 years put up so much as a Christmas wreath before the day after Thanksgiving.  I am not sure what has gotten in to us …….BUT I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!   If ya’ll recall last year I used greens, metallics , black and white in ur home at Christmas and I just loved it!  I didn’t regret it for a moment.  So today I wanted to share a few things that caught my eye this year.  Most of the things I am sharing with ya’ll are pretty simple and natural…….

This big guy is not.

He is just magical to me, someone who still believes in Santa.

For those of you who like it when I share personal stuff, he is one of those.  One of my life goals is to pet an actual reindeer .  Alas, they are hard to find .  He will certainly do though !   He is currently over my mantel but I am not positive where he will end up.

This quite real looking mixed evergreen wreath is actually a faux one from Walmart for $12.97  It is so realistic looking I was amazed since I am not at all nuts about faux wreaths.

I added one of my antlers just for fun.

I an currently thinking about using it on a table and putting a glass vase in the center with a nice pillar candle.

This lovely simple table runner was a Target Dollar Spot find for $5.  It is a canvas fabric with a muted gold lettering/ stitching.  I was attracted to the simplicity of it.  Nothing too shiny of bright colored.

And as a Font Nut I loved the lettering on it.

Lastly?

I stepped in to Trader Joes early, early on Sunday morning to find that there Christmas evergreens has arrived!!!  If you recall I got one of these large mixed evergreen wreaths there last Christmas and was very pleased with it for $10.

It is wild and full and fluffy and fragrant……all of the things that a live wreath should be at Christmas time 🙂

Right beside the box of big wreaths was a box of these small ones.

They were $7 each and I left with 2.

Ya’ll this is the best smelling pine christmas tree candle I have ever found……….for 4 bucks.

At Aldi ya’ll!

They have I believe 4 different scents but I will almost always for the pine.  They are also a nice larger size and so far burn slowly.  I came home from Trader Joes and Big Daddy had lit one while I was gone.
