If I had to guess I would say that I have painted in the neighborhood of 40 side tables/nightstand in the past 6 years. They are quite easy to find in this area …….. if you aren’t looking for them.
Know what I mean?
Little, early American three drawer jobs, batwing hardware , all with the same feet.
Good, because I didn’t take a before photo.
I find way more than I actually bring home with me. I can spot them almost from the Goodwill parking lot but when I get to the furniture section? The tops are a laminate :)))))
The top on this one is rock Maple and it refinished up beautifully.
I again used the Minwax Jacobean/Classic Gray formula. I lllloooovvveee the way it looks on the Maple ya’ll! And what’s more I’m pretty sure I will be dancing with this stain combo for a while.
This guy came from Etsy and I am obsessed with him.
I used Fusion Paint in Ash on this one and quite by accident I discovered that antique bass looks perfect with it. I tried a tarnished silver pull with it and it stuck out like a soar thumb.
Live & Learn?
Always the hard way for me…….

I love this “ash” color….it’s warm, deep and rich…. so beautiful, especially with the antique brass. It makes this piece look elegant, but unpretentious. No doubt this piece will go ‘dancing’ out of your shop in no time!!
