So Last time on Paige Hoards Scraps Of Paint Like a Nutjob……..
I had mixed up all of the bits of paint in blues and greens that I had been saving for, well God knows what! I honestly don’t now why in the world I saved them. The next color pallet I had an over abundance in tiny amounts were the whites. They ranged in hue from pure bright white to almost a light tan. For today’s victim I combined Americana Decor’s Everylasting, Dixie Belle’s Fluff & Dropcloth and lastly Country Chic’s Crimoline. all of these are beautiful colors on their own so really I couldn’t go wrong. Now that teal I Macgyvered together in my last post? That could have been a big fat mess. I just got really lucky.

This big ‘ol pine table was a Facebook Marketplace find. I have missed out on several exactly like it so I was quite happy that I was able to snag this one! That and I love me some pine:)
The curvy parts always suck me in ya’ll.
The only thing wrong with this pine buffet was the drawers stuck badly. That is an easy fix though once I got them open and out of the piece. I uses my orbital to sand the top front of the drawer a bit at the time, checking the fit often before sanding it too much. Now they slide smoothly.
I have been dying to used these BIG wooden knobs from Hobby Lobby for a very long time. They were $2 each on the 50% week. They are a really substantial and I love their texture.
All of the globes are in my shop. The two larger ones predate the fall of the Soviet Union. I really enjoy hunting for them and keeping them in stock.
I really thought I would be keeping this one so I took a fairly big chance with the finish on the top. I sanded it down and stained it then I sanded it in a few spots again before I applied the poly and I LOVE it!
Curves for days ya’ll.
It is currently down in the shop with the globes if you are local.
Have a great week ahead!

I have never seen anything like this piece…..in particular the design of the apron under the drawers. Clearly it’s a side table or a buffet…? Regardless, your ‘recipe’ for the white came out perfectly! It’s creamy, soft and warm – very pretty!

Thank you Kristine! I’m pretty sure it’s a buffet but I was thinking it would be a great piece to put a flat screen on.
