Y’all the weather has been so nice and my yard so green and the perennials are just lovely this year! Two of my hydrangea are loaded with blooms………for the first time, I might add!!!
I feel like taking out an ad on a billboard on I40 :)))
BUT it rained an exorbitant about this weekend and I was forced to play around in our dining room with an idea for a simple Summer display for the table.
There is just something really Summery about green or blue glass to me. They both kinda remind me of the sea. I have a pretty impressive collection of larger green glass jugs and bottles that I have pick up over the years, most are thrifted. I also have a collection of the same in my shop most of the time. To me they are quite elegant when grouped together. At just a few bucks each they make a big impact .
Our home sits on a wooded piece of land. We can grow Hosta like nobody’s business. I think we have about 8 varieties. So I gathered up a BIG hand full and just stuck a few stems in each bottle.
They make me smile !
I love all the variation of green and they last a good long time in water.
Enjoy!
