Simple, natural and thrifted ……. if I am being honest 🙂
Several months ago a new Habitat Restore opened up near our house. It had actually been open for a week when I finally found out about it and drove over to check it out. It is quite a bit smaller than the one in Asheville and has furniture and decor only, no hardware or construction materials. Also, to my somewhat disappointment it appears to be upper end furniture. Like Really nice stuff, not stuff I would be buying to refinish for my shop. It was all lovely to look at though and enjoyed it. As I was leaving I noticed this half moon window grill kind of behind a dresser and grabbed it up for $18!
The urns were Goodwill finds that I just painted white. I found theses small faux wreaths at Target in the Dollar Spot and topped them with large ornaments from Hobby Lobby . The Frazier Fur I brought home from our local farmers market. It was the leftover clippings from the folks I purchased all of my fresh evergreen wreaths from.
They are all wonderfully fragrant :))))
These oversized ornaments are also hyena proof.
They came in a box of 2 for $10 at the Hobby Lobby, 50%off
Metallics & Evergreens
This was my plan for this year.
I gotta say I am really enjoying the change 🙂
Its getting close!
Merry Christmas ya’ll,
Paige

I love this mantel… it looks like something you would see in an older, historic hotel. Timeless, classic simple beauty! And hyena proof to boot!! I am guessing you will be able to use that window grill quite a bit over the coming year !!! Like year-round maybe! For not having much to work with, your home looks festive and very Christmas-y!
