Ya’ll we got a little gift from God last night…….
In the form of 10 inches of snow:))).
It was our favorite kind, a heavy wet snow that has clung to everything. We truly woke up to a Winter Wonderland this morning. Mac and Lily lost their minds! Big Daddy and I love the snow. It is magical to both of us. And let me just say that I love that about him . As a result of the snow the light in our kitchen was absolutely perfect this morning.
Now remember, all my Christmas stuff is up in the attic so I had to get creative with the china cabinet.
Antique red book, Tartan plaid initial mugs and some evergreen feel like Christmas to me.
Plus a Nutcracker and a red poinsettia that will knock your eyes out.
Up on the very top of the cabinet is my DIY chalkboard that I redid this morning just for the Season. I added a couple of pillar candles and some Fraser Fur. There is nothing like the smell of it!
Over on the jelly cupboard I hung a smaller Fraser wreath with a black and white ribbon from a tiny nail in the back of the door.
It smells so good in our kitchen!
This vintage green glass footed bowl has a single purpose in our house.
It holds cranberry sauce 🙂
All of this stuff ( minus the poinsettia) I dug out of my cabinets and drawers. Every year I seem to forget a handful of items that should have been packed away for next Christmas.
Good thing I’m a dingbat huh?

I love all your christmas decor! I have looked at all of it. You did a great job esp with your injuries. You are so lucky to have fresh magnolia leaves there. I have never seen the real ones! I only have fake. I was wondering where the white sweater plates came from. They are probably no longer available but they are so different. I love all the green, brown and gray in all of your rooms.

Thank you Julie! I found those plates at Michaels on clearance several years ago.
