I LOVE little tables.
They are one of the most versatile pieces of furniture you can have.
End table…. bedside table ….entry table…..desk…..console
The list goes on.
I had been watching this table for a couple of weeks on Facebook Marketplace if you can believe it. The price was high in the beginning but the second it got close to my budget I shot a message to the seller and went to pick it up <doing my Snoopy Dance>
The top was the worst part of it and it wasn’t that bad. I originally thought I would leave it as is but did end up sanding it down in the end, only because it was a bit sticky. I wasn’t crazy about that at all.
Now I’m crazy about it:)))
It turns out this little table is handmade, or homemade as my Mama would say.
These little turned legs are just too sweet !
The body of this table is painted in two coats of Annie Sloan Provence. It is the perfect soft shade of turquoise. The top was stained with Minwax Special Walnut and sealed with Annie Sloan clear soft wax.
These hydrangea are from my Mama’s bush.
I love the way they turn shades of aqua and burgundy in the Fall.
Ya’ll Big Daddy has surgery next week.
Please keep him in ya’ll’s prayers 🙂

I’m so sorry to hear Big Daddy will have surgery – I will hold good thoughts for a speedy recovery! I love this little table – it’s charming and sweet. It would make a great table in a small entry way, or nook corner. The color looks beautiful on the all the detail!! And those hydrangeas are gorgeous!!

Thank you sweet friend! Big Daddy has surgery last week and is recuperating upstairs on the couch. Achilles ruptures are a long recovery so we are in for the long haul.
