Ya’ll.
That Trader Joe’s.
Last week I goy myself a dozen roses there for $7 and then proceeded to hit every junk store, thrift store and outhouse in Buncombe county. I forgot that I actually had 12 gorgeous cream colored rosed in my Jeep. Lord. I am just like a dog who sees a squirrel. I forget about everything and chase the junk. So when I finally got back home I recut those roses and put them in to warm ish water and they opened up so pretty for me 🙂
I have several antique china sugar bowl with no lids that I have picked up for a buck or two literally. I use them for a couple of things but my favorite use for them is for floral arrangements.
I have also put tulip bulbs in them and small ferns.
I love how live greenery of any kind livens up the house, in any season. These are I my china cabinet.
This antique china sugar bowl ( again missing it’s lid) was a gift from my dear friend Donna. It had belonged to her Grandmother and Donna knew I would find a use for it 🙂
In our dining room white tulips are my go-to for Spring.
I got there tulips at Michaels for 50% off.
I have had an obsession with colored glass since I was little. I have a scar on my right knee to prove it. I bring out my green glass in Spring in a few spots in the house. I am fairly sure that these were probable widely used my florists. I see them consistently at Goodwill for a few bucks.
Makes me smile every time I walk by 🙂

I love your Blue Willow dishes. I have a lot of them. Some from my late Mother & some from my collection. Blue Willow goes with everything! Unfortunately, there aren’t any Trader Joe’s close by for me. I could almost smell your roses. Beautiful!
