Rule #1.
Never pass up classic design.
Especially when it’s prices at $25.
Grimy.
Other than that not a thing in the world wrong with it.
This girl has never been afraid of dirt or hard work for that matter a day in her life.
Did I mention 25 bucks?? Solid wood? No veneer??
After a good scrub down with a hot soapy rag, I sanded the old finish off the table top, getting rid of all of those scratches.
Now The After:)))
The top came out beautifully!
I used my tried & true Annie Sloan dark wax only. It truly does look like barn wood.
It also beads water like a boss!
The pedestal I pained with Americana Decor chalk paint in the color Everlasting. It is one of my very favorite whites. It is a very slight off white, if that makes any sense at all.
It is a warmer white and I think it compliments the wood top very well.
I picked up these poinsettias at my local grocery for $2.50 each.
The crackle finish bowl is a thrift store find. I love how they compliment each other!
Tomorrow I will be resetting my shop for Christmas.
This table for four will be front and center! I really try my best to keep a dining table of some kind in my shop. They sell really well and also support my china addiction, literally. I love anything used to set a pretty table. My intention is to photograph my shop and do a full post about it soon.
Good classic design.
Can’t beat it ya’ll.
Have a wonderful weekend!
