I am a HUGE fan of bringing the outside in……especially during Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The Good Lord really new what he was doing when he created Evergreens. For the past 17+ years I have made it a point to plant and cultivate evergreens in my own yard for the sole purpose of using them in my Holiday decorating. Today I am using three of my very favorite ones, Magnolia, Cypress and Juniper (with berries) to style my china cabinet for Season.
Now. Mind you.
This is quite possible only the first styling of my china cabinet for Christmas .
It is soooo much fun to style:)))
You can read the original post about this cabinet here:
I cleared out all of my brown Transferware this morning and thought about it.
I didn’t have anything to do. I had the joint all to myself.
And I didn’t want to leave my house or my feety pajamas. A lot of fun projects start out this way for me around this house. So with an arm full of glossy Magnolia and a kitchen table stacked with white serving pieces …….off I went:)
White china Quail and a few sprigs of cedar.
Simple stuff but so lovely.
Old silver, evergreen and white china. The combination never gets old.
The beautiful white china snowflake ornament come from AC Moore for a buck !
Fact.
I am thinking about going back and cleaning them out.
This is actually a really pretty cake plate that I scored at a thrift store. I just layed it on it’s side and tucked some Magnolia in around it.
I hope this gives y’all a few ideas for incorporating a few natural elements in to your Christmas decorating this year.
Have a great week ahead 🙂
Paige

The deep green magnolia leaves are a perfect foil for the white china and I love the fabric or paper,(not sure which it is) on the back of your china closet –lovely!

Hi Lisa and thank you! It is fabric I found at Hobby Lobby that reminded me of grasscloth.

I’d love also if you shared this with Thursday Favorite Things, which is here: http://www.petitehaus.com/2017/11/a-thanksgiving-kitchen-and-an-english-painter-thursday-favorite-things.html
