In my last post I hinted that I had a few more textiles up my sleeve for VMD Asheville.
Here is my very favorite:)))
I found this King size chenille bedspread at the Goodwill. It is not old. I ain’t ever vintage. It has a Country Living label in it and looks as though it’s never been used. I just love it!
I made the ticking pillow in the middle. It is one of a pair of nice, oversized pillows. I found the navy IKEA pillow covers in an Antique shop in Brevard NC. They were in great shape. I just laundered them and added the down inserts. If you can see there are two white quilted standard shams behind the row of through pillows. These came from an antique shop in Georgia. They were from Ethan Allan.
Both the stoneware covered dish and this silver urn/ wine bucket will be in my booth.
Old silver gets me every time.
I pick up these gorgeous pink rosed for myself at ALDI. There were pretty tightly closed whenI brought them home. They sure opened up nicely. I just love how they look in the urn.
Enjoy your weekend 🙂
