I’m back this morning as promised with a few more photos of the ottoman I originally thought was a bench.
My Dingbat knows no bounds.
I may have to do one of these for the actual bench out on my front porch. Im really digging the look of it and the texture it lends to the room.
So.
Against my better judgement, I will be a vendor at the August Vintage Days Asheville.
This piece and several others will be there with me. As vendors, we have all been assured that the franchise has been working diligently to iron out any issues that were had at the March Market. We will be in two buildings as well as outside spaces. The Early Entry tickets will be limited and parking will be better organized. My plan is to bring my A Game, as always and to just not read the critical comments on Social Media. Man, I really thought I was tougher than that. Some of the comments on Facebooking were ugly.
So here’s to the Fire Marshall not showing up this time :)))
One More 🙂
I think I interrupted her nap.

Ignore the naysayers and enjoy your time at the August Vintage Days in Asheville. There will always be unhappy negative folks, but please don’t let that deter you from doing what you do and being who you are! You are very talented and gifted so let it SHINE ! Love the bench! Perfect!

Veronica thank you . I know I should and will. You are always so kind to me and I truly appreciate you and also I wish y’all lived down the street from me. You and I would have a ball?

I used to think I had a thick skin too until the ugly comments started flying. Everyone kept telling me to “take the high road”. Well I kept getting nose bleeds from the high road. Ugly people do ugly things, so don’t be afraid to speak your mind and delete the negative comments or speak your piece. I am loving your bench though! The texture is on point. I have one old grain sack hanging in a closet, waiting for a project. Now I think I have found it. Thanks so much for the inspiration!

Hi Paige,
Your ottoman turned out cute! I like the grainsack fabric! Isn’t it amazing how just changing the fabric on a piece makes all the difference? Your kitty certainly seems to think so! Best wishes at the upcoming market!!!
