There ain’t a thing in this world wrong with spray paint in my opinion. Honestly I love Paint of any kind. Paint changes everything. And if you get tired of it? Paint right over it! I was making my thrift store rounds last week and I had Smalls on my brain when I found this
This is a metal wall pocket that I found at Goodwill for three bucks. This is actually the back side of it but you get the idea. Now, yellow ain’t my signature color y’all! But $3 I could not pass up.
Two coats of $.97 Walmart black spray paint later and it’s getting there. One more good coat of spray paint, this time in flat white, still the $.98 stuff and it perfect.
Now. That more like me:)
I did let the paint dry well between each coat and before I sanded the fire out of it with a fine sanding sponge just to bring out the details in the metal.
I cant wait to see this wall pocket full of Magnolia during the holidays!
For three bucks!
