I am a complete and total Transferware Nut.
So was my Mamma, so I came by it honest. She favored the blue and the red (pink). I have collected the black for about 16 years but recently I have begun to pick up the odd piece of brown, just here and there. Sort of by accident. While Big Daddy and I were spending the weekend in Nashville, Tennessee last week I found a couple more pieces and decided to group every piece I had all together in that china cabinet I painted and moved in to the eating area in our kitchen in January.
I had more than I realized 🙂
I found these bunny salad plates at my Hobby Lobby in their Easter section. I spotted them from across the room :). They were kinda more than I wanted to spend at $7.99 each but I had several things to return and the Easter section was 40% off ……..
so I grabbed an armload.
The brown bunnies are sooooo sweet!
This platter and the cake plate were Nashville finds.
Im really loving the brown and blue 🙂
You may have noticed that I swapped out the Chinese bail pulls for some galvanized hardware. I found the cup pulls on Home Depot’s website and they shipped free to my local store. The knobs come from my Lowe’s and were $2.98 each. This china cabinet is the third project I’ve used these on and I love them…….. and that price!
I would love to have them in my entire kitchen.
I was certain when I scored this $60 china cabinet at the Goodwill that I would change it up Seasonally. Decorating it for Spring is my first attempt at it and I’m really enjoying it!
Especially those brown bunny plates 🙂

Very lovely display in your hutch. I have a built in cabinets which is nice for not having to dust, but makes it too easy to ignore and switch around, This spring treatment is lovely. Thanks, Sandi
