I really need to tell ya’ll thank you for all of your kind words and support on my last post about my experience at Vintage Market Days Asheville. It really means something to me when someone extends a hand to me and I am truly very grateful. I’ve been taking it easy this week, trying to rest my body and brain from an amazing and exhausting weekend:)
This morning I finally got board.
I collected old frames from around my home taking care to pick ones that were different. Different in size, different in material and different in thickness. Two of the frames I came out of the closet with were good to go. The large, distressed black frame with the rabbit and the shell study I thought would work well for what I had in mind. Next, I went to Big Daddy’s computer and found some free printable images to fit in the other frames.
A few green antique books and a grapevine ball later, here’e what I’ve got 🙂
The bunny is the cutest thing!!! I found him at the lovely blog findingsilverpennies.com. The original was a watercolor. You can find the free printable here:

He had me at those ears 🙂
I also found a bird egg study that has some pretty blue and green tones. Given how much brown is in the rest of the composition and our living room I thought it might also work well. You can find this free printable here:

*Never underestimate the pow of a FREE PRINTABLE !
The rest of the composition was pretty simple.
I just added a few accessories to round it out.
Most of these frames were thrift store finds. This pretty white one was a buck!
Have a great weekend!
