What does one do when you are just itching to paint something but you can not take your eyes off the big flakes of snow that are quickly covering the ground of your backyard?
Well if you are me, The Nut you stick your head out in the Hell Hole you call a garage and see what you can find to work your magic on!
A buck.
I have no idea what these pedestal bowls are actually called but I see them in thrift stores ALL the time. There are pretty cute but if I’m being honest, it had me at a buck.
So I grabbed some white chalk paint and watched it snow. I did not at all take my time with this project nor was I careful to cover the entire piece. It was pretty much a Slapdash job. Usually I’m way more careful but my plan from jump was to sand a LOT of the paint right off anyway.
How cute is this thing I ask you?
Writing this, I can think of about fifteen things I can use this for. Not the least of which is a cute vessel to hold some pine cones and evergreen.
Nice little Winter accessory:)
You know, it doesn’t have to be a big project to be a fun project, or cost a lot to create something that spruces up your home and makes you smile.
I got to tell y’all though, if I weren’t absolutely mesmerized by the snow as I always am…..
I would be loosing my mind right now.
The top half of this is out in my garage. The bottom half is still in my snow cover Jeep.

I've banned myself for the month of January from going thrifting, but that is such a cute tray I might have to go see if I can find one. It turned out wonderful and so many uses!

That is awesome. Think I'll keep my eyes open for one. But then again I may have one in the basement!

So cute! I would have never thought it would be that cute! Would be great to put fruit in too! I love the distressing, it looks like natural wear which is hard to achieve for some folks. Beautiful!
