It’s here.
The most wonderful time of the year 🙂
I want to wish Merry Christmas to the world right now. I want everyone to safe and warm and happy on this Christmas Eve. I want their hearts to be as full as mine is, so full it nearly hurts.
Three years ago tomorrow we took my Mama to the hospital with pneumonia. She died 15 days later. I can truly understand how someone can loose Christmas.
I pray to God that I never do.
One year after my Mama died, on our first Christmas without her my amazing husband wrote this,
Changes bring us closer together. Hug your loved ones closer than ever, embrace family and friends, create new traditions, renew your faith, remember those who are no longer with us and share joy with the ones who are. Embrace the holidays, strengthen bonds and keep love, laughter and joy the whole year. No one is promised tomorrow, don’t waste a single moment.
Merry Christmas.
He surely is the man of my dreams.
In December 1843 Charles Dickens published A Christmas Carole.
‘I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year. I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future. The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me. I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!’
Words to live by?
I think so
Merry Christmas!
