It is important to note that I did not use the word ‘cheap’. However, I still want a tee shirt that says,
Cheap & Easy.
This one is ALL THAT.
Supply List
Clear glass trifle bowl
36 candy canes
Evergreen of your choice
White Flowers
Small bowl that will fit inside trifle
Line the bowl with as many candy canes as it takes. These things are $1 a dozen. I used about three dozen.
Fit the bowl down in to the trifle bowel. This bowl serves two purposes. It holds water for flowers plus if it fits snug enough it will hold lose candy canes in place at a slant.
Now fill the bowl with water and LARGE white flowers. Now for this I chose $6 worth of white hydrangia from my grocery. I have also used white poinsettia and it’s beautiful. Red or white will do, probably a 4 inch pot. Just make sure the poinsettia is nice, fat and FULL!
The last thing you need to do is tuck in about six sprigs of evergreen.
I used cypress.
Mostly because it’s right outside my front door. I love it most of all because it will not shed!
Enjoy!
