We had some really nice temperatures here in Asheville this weekend and I LOVE Winter but it was a nice change of pace. It also really got me to thinking about switching out a few things in my house for a more Springy, less Wintery feel. I made a quick visit to our neighborhood fabric shop and came hope with a small remnant of a lovely fabric. I have absolutely no idea what this fabric is called but it should be named Spring!
Or, Paige’s Favorite Colors
Your choose.
Aqua, lime green and brown.
You gotta love it!
I grabbed this remnant with the sole purpose in mind of making pillows for my shop. And I probably still will, but today I played with this fabric with a Spring
tablescape rolling around my crazy little head.
So here’s what I came up using what I already had on hand.
I found these speckled bird eggs last year at Michael’s in a box of about 12 but I haven’t seen any this year. My little ‘Nests’ are just raffia and a shredded brown paper bag wound around my hand to make sort of a nest shape.
The dishware is all from my ever growing collection of white plates and serving pieces. The blue salad plates were a Old Time Pottery find a couple of years ago for less than $2 each. Nothing fancy at all but I think it looks pretty with that length of fabric 🙂
You can’t really leave me home alone for too long. I start pulling stuff outa cabinets. And shredding paper lunch bags.
Just sayin’.

Beautiful fabric and table setting! I really love that fabric pattern, too. I would have snatched that remnant right up and figured out what to do with it later. It's lovely as an impromptu table runner.
