The is one of the most fun games I play in my own head. I limit myself to a ten dollar bill and hit a few yard sales. Or, since it’s Winter now a Thriftstore or two.
This month I spent half of my $10 budget on a single item. Y’all trust me when I say it was sooooo worth it.
#1.
Yep.
An antique sugar jar!
I love the details. I found it at my neigjborhood Salvation Army Thriftstore.
Hallmark
Yes.
$5
#2
Three beautiful china teacup and saucer sets. I want the ENTIRE set of china. These are lovely!
Love me some aqua. I found these at Goodwill for $1 per set, so a total of $3.
So that left me with two bucks, which I spent on these.
A pair of white matelasse Euro shams for $1 each. They appear to be brand new. These went straight in my shop.
Well, this one is in the books! That sugar jar is definately Best In Show. And I have no plans to take it out side of my house any time soon.
Enjoy your weekend,
Paige

Paige, what a great deal on your sugar jar! I love it! Question though…where did you find your boxwood Wreath that is in that picture? I have been looking and looking for an artificial Boxwood wreath and cannot seem to find one. Either they are square shaped or cost over $100! I really don't want a preserved wreath as some say they tend to "bleed" after a while. I LOVE yours, do you mind telling me where I can purchase one like it? Thanks! and Happy New Year! π Love your blog btw.
This is gonna make you mad. I got it at a church yard sale for $1!!! I felt like I was stealing it!
Paige, you are correct on both points 1) I AM MAD π and 2) You got it for a STEAL ! But I can't complain, I have been blessed to have gotten some great bargains in my thrift store/yard sale purchases as well. So I don't hate…but LOVE your blessing! π Who knows I may just "happen" upon one for a great price also π
Paige,
Your antique ironstone sugar jar is magnificent, dear one!!!
WoW!!!
Nothing like this ever comes through our Goodwill Store!!!
Great finds, indeed!!!
Fondly,
Pat
Paige finally found a Boxwood Wreath of my liking at Home Goods! I paid $29.99 plus tax for a 21 inch, which is a whole lot cheaper than the other places i researched! Just want you to get a smile in knowing how great of a deal you have…and for only $1 ! I'm STILL drooling over that! LOL
Hi Paige!
I love a good find! Thanks for sharing your fun challenge with us and linking up at #TALENTED Tuesday!
Cheers,
AJ
