Welcome to Christmas Tablescape #3!
I have to say I’m having soooo much fun styling these tablescapes. Just so you know the degree of my Crazy, I leave them up for about a week after, just so I can walk through the dining room and look at/ enjoy them!
But before we get into #3, let’s review.
Shall we?
First we had In To The Woods
Second was Red Toile And Snowflakes
See what I mean?
This particular table all started with a $7.98 roll of runner width burlap that I picked up at Walmart before Halloween.
They had several patterns and colors but I loved the pinecones!. I was pretty impressed when I began to role it out. First, I noticed right away that it felt substantial and the burlap was tightly woven.
Plus, ALL edges are finished.
For the place setting I reused my antique silver chargers, dinner plates and the faux pearl handled flat ware.
I brought in my silver snowflake salad plates ( a Christmas gift from Big Daddy several years ago ), white linen napkins and the most formal stemware I own, which came from Walmart by the way.
The center pieces I worked out in my head as I was styling and photographing that little white desk last week. It really struck me how pretty the white poinsettias looked in my white soup tureen. I picked up two for $2.98 each at my neigjborhood grocery.
Lastly I walked out in our backyard and clipped three different kinds of evergreen. I arranged them in a white vase I’ve had for years and dusted all the foliage with spray snow.
All that was left to do was scatter a few real pinecones down the middle of the runner.
Money spent?
Just under $14
Except for the poinsettias ($6) I can reuse everything on the table for years.
Well worth it in my opinion.
Have a great week ahead,
Paige

I love that burlap & pine cone runner! I never would have thought it came from Walmart & would never even know where to look for it had I known. You are making me reconsider using my tureen also for a poinsettia for a festive look. Thanks for the wonderful ideas!

Beautiful settings, but my fav is the last – I want to do something similar for Christmas, whites, greens and very simple. I also like the idea of greens in a tureen, so I might use that idea!! Happy Holidays
