It’s almost here!
The day my entire Kid Year revolves around! I thought I would share a few simple Christmas Decorating ideas with y’all today. These are things that we really enjoy in the rooms of our home where we spend the most time.
I’m starting with a very special tree that we put up every year in our den.
This is our Santa Tree
It is made up of red and white lights, red blown glass balls and Santa ornaments.
Our main tree is in our livingroom. It’s a hodgepodge of ornaments that I’ve collected since I was a child.
The red and white Bearpaw quilt that now serves as our tree skirt was made by my Mama.
Last year at Christmas Big Daddy went out for an errand and came back with this Santa. You gotta love a man who brings you a Santa this big for absolutely no reason !
I always struggle with my mantel this time of year so I kept it simple using things I already had.
This bird cage was a church rummage sale find for $3. Best $3 I’ve ever spent, I’ve used it all over the house.
I love these big Sugar pinecones. They are so cool! I paired them with these antique books for height. I love the odd, non-traditional shade of green.
Here are a few of the Christmas touches we’ve brought in to our kitchen. We spend quite a bit of time in here so we really enjoy them.
This coming week will go fast. It always does. Spend every moment with your loved ones that you can and hold them dear. Enjoy the magic of this most wonderful of Seasons!
Merry Christmas,
Paige
