Early on Friday morning we hopped a plane to celebrate Big Daddy’s birthday.

Now remember? I married a guitar player , so music is a HUGE part of our lives.
Our destination was here :
Our hotel was wonderful! We stayed at a Holiday Inn Expess in an historic building in the heart of downtown.
Our room was huge! Honestly, we felt like we had our own downtown loft. Twelve foot ceilings, huge windows and beautiful hardwood floors !
Believe it or not we spent nearly five hours in the Rock Hall!
But we actually went specificly to see only one exhibit .

We also managed to catch an Air Show by accident from the deck of the Rock Hall.
This was our view!
We spent most of our time in a part of the city called East Fourth.
It’s a lovely street open to foot traffic with LOTS of great restaurants, sidewalk cafés, live music and little shops!
We have had such a great time! I packed two books and several magazines thinking I’d have LOTS of downtime.
Who’d a thought ?

Glad you had a great time at the Rock N Roll hall of fame! That's on my hubby's & mine bucket list.
We live an hour south of Cleveland OH. And use the Hopkins International airport I just love that big guitar. Every time I walk past it I try to figure out how tall it is. Glad you selected Cleveland to celebrate a Birthday. Blessings Always From Susan
