Well my long, dry furniture spell is definitely over! I went to The Mother Of All Church Yard Sales last Friday and I wanted to share with y’all all the cool junk that I came home with.

This is the coolest bushel sized basket! It appears to have NEVER been used.
Now, it’s a cat toy.
I want y’all to get an idea how big this thing is. Sasha is not a tiny cat. She loves this thing! We run her out of it at least five times a day.

I know, kinda steep for me, the Cheapskate but not a thing wrong with it.
This is a darling maple desk that I spotted in the Craig’s List add for the yard sale at 6:30 in the morning. They wouldn’t let me in till eight! I just love desks. I think this will be the eighth one I’ve redone. I am thinking about changing out the original knobs for porcelain though.
And another Drum ! This one is a bit bigger and has a drawer.

So here’s the big problem. I can’t find very much time to paint AT ALL! And it is killing me. I’m getting a bit discouraged. I’m really missing that creative time and the therapeutic value of it. Plus, it really relaxes me and I sleep so much better!
I hope it will get better soon. Big Daddy reassures me that it will but right now, this minute, it bothers me. It’s hard work, what we do but I do love it and I miss it when I can’t.
Here’s to the weekend. It can’t get here fast enough!

We LOVE the Longest Yard Sale in the world and have been over it all, in some places many, many times. Found so many things, it will take me a couple of weeks to share.
