About a month ago I told y’all about hitting a few yard sales (unexpectedly ) on a Saturday with 10 bucks in my pocket. The point of the story was how far you can go with $10, doing a lot with a little.
One of my very favorite things
So here I went again!
Find #1
$6
This cool wrought iron basket.
It’s big, for one thing and heavy. I originally bought it for our front porch, thinking I could use it for Fall. But now that I’m seeing it on the coffee table in the living room , I think it has found a home.
I need to stop in to Dollar Tree to pick up about four more apples. Maybe pears or white mini pumpkins in the fall? The Christmas possibilities are endless!
Find #2
$1
This sweet little white china urn.
Bare in mind that I still had fall in my crazy little head. Wouldn’t this look cute with a pumpkin perched on top? Maybe a blue one!
Find #3
The coolest by far, in my humble opinion.
$3
I kid you not
This antique English tureen.
I have a small tureen collection. I use them for everything, except soup. They make really good serving dishes with those handles. I also like to use them for seasonal displays and floral arrangements. My VERY favorite thing is to fill one with evergreens at Christmas and then tuck in ribbon or candy canes.
I love the detail in the cute little handles.
So there you have my latest finds.
So what’s the coolest deals y’all have found lately?
Paige

Yard sales are the best — and you found some fabulous things! My latest and greatest find was a bunk bed ladder for $1 ! —- I've already given it a coat of paint and it's going to look fabulous in the guest room for towels, magazines, books, etc.
