It’s been been a pretty good week around here, with the only exception being the heat! And it looks as though my Furniture Dry Spell is also getting a little better too.
I found a couple of really cool pieces!
First this nice little 1920’s arm chair

And it is solid as can be. I know. Shocker! Old dining chairs are usually wobbly as can be!

Yesterday on Craig’s List I saw this

And I was intrigued.
(gross understatement)
But I didn’t jump on it.
Odd for me, I know. I just was creeped out about going to some guy’s apartment by myself. Call
me crazy . . .
Later in the evening I get a text from the guy that says he has moved it out in front of his building if I want to come get it.
OK , now I was in!
Big Daddy was not about to leave the house after a hard day so I grabbed my friend Wendy across the street and off we flew!
I’m super excited about this Freebie!
The hardware alone was worth the trip and not a single one is missing.
The drawers work great and they are actually clean!
Bonus!
The down side is something has chewed on it.
Lord, please let it have been a dog.
Right now I’m having my coffee, outside in My Spot,
enjoying this lovely, cool morning and waving to the neighbors out on their morning walks.
