This morning my house was a WRECK.
Let’s call it PMS: Post Market Syndrome. A few weeks leading up to a market I get tunnel vision. I readily admit that. And this morning I had had enough. So I flew in on the housework like a crazy woman.
I had already unpacked all my market gear and put it away in the garage. All my paint and paint supplies were in their proper place. I have not touched a paintbrush in eight days, nor anything else in the house. I have just rested. But this morning I was a ball of fire!
Then I got the itch to change
SOMETHING.
I had made a deal with myself to not leave my house so I had to use what I had on hand. To me that meant that I had to shop my own home, and garden. And that garden is what lit the fuse.
I love peonies!
I have three big bushes of them. Their blooming season is very short so I try to enjoy them as much as possible. My red and my white blooms are already gone but I still have lots of the pink. It’s the most prolific.
Everything on the table I already had in my kitchen cabinets!
I’ve been collecting black and white transferware for years. Most of it is salad and dessert plates.
These cool knives were a Goodwill find.
25 cents each! I came home with eight.
So next I swapped out a few things on my mantel.
This chalkboard is one of the few things I had left over from Vintage Hendo Market.
It’s a nice change in place of the mirror and I pulled in a few green bottles.
You can smell these beautiful flowers all over my house!
Now, if y’all will excuse me I’m going to go pick up a paintbrush. Somewhere Big Daddy is rolling his eyes!
Paige

tried to find you on bloglovin, have you heard of it? That is where I like to follow blogs. Or are you on Google Plus?

Thank you letting me know! I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree but I think I've fixed it. Just so you know I went straight out to find a lampshade to try to polka dot! Oh, and I know nothing about Bloglovin. I'm pretty new at this. I'm on google

Wonderful flowers. Peonies are so pretty, but need something longer lasting. Your home is lovely.

Beautiful peonies! I had various shades of pink and white peonies at my wedding because I love them so much. Lucky you get to enjoy them in your garden and home!
