Our guest bathroom is teeny! You can barely turn around in it. This is also Big Daddy’s bathroom. This bathroom has undergone a least three makeovers in the past 15 years. And I have loved all of them . . . for about fifteen minutes. Recently I’ve been playing around with it again. Nothing too serious, mainly just paint & fabric.
This is where I’m at now.
The mirror and the light fixture both got a coat of flat black spray paint.
The vanity used to look like this
So I painted it one week when Big Daddy was away on buisness. I just used some leftover white trim paint I found out in the garage. (Right next to the spray paint)
Much better!
We have had the cabinet pulls for months. He finally installed them for me last weekend & we both love them!
The burlap bucket I found an a local upscale garden shop. We use it for a waste basket.
I made the mistake of falling in love with this shower curtain
Pottery Barn
$79
Not that I’m above it but-
Not in this bathroom.
So I bought 2 yards of black ticking fabric and took it to Big Daddy’s tailor and he fixed me up. For less than half the price,
The bee print on a page from an antique dictionary was an etsy find. I had the frame already and used a bit of burlap for the mat.
Then the odd accessory or two.
I stenciled those dragonflies a while ago,
The pretty little hand towel is new. I found it at TJ Maxx in the clearence pile.
Just sayin’

Great job, simple changes but make a real difference.
