I love the movie The Wizard Of Oz. My whole life. When I was little it seemed to always be on TV right when school started back in September. I would see the trailer for it and go NUTS!!
As I’ve gotten older I’ve realized there are ALOT of life lessons in that movie ( don’t play with fire!). And I loved Glenda! I wanted to BE her! And I truly believe that’s when my life-long captivation with all thing sparkly began. With her. Well, her & Barbie, if I’m being honest. “It’s always best to start at the beginning” , she tells Dorothy when she doesn’t know what to.
So, that’s what I’m doing, finally after staring at this Blogger screen for four day . . . Thinking, ‘ Wow! I’ve been wanting to do this forever! Now what???”
I have GREAT plans for the days to come! I hope to share all my tricks & thoughts on decor, DIY, entertaining & Home Keeping in general. I love every aspect of Home Keeping & frankly am just baffled by people who don’t. My home is my refuge, my safe, warm and cozy place. My Mama was the same way, so I got it honest. My Mama could do amazing things in our home with NOTHING! I mean it. Some spit & Kleenex and you had a beautiful bedroom! I paid WAY more attention to her than I realized. I absorbed everything I could because I new I would want the same feeling in my home, some day.
