I am not a big collector.
Seriously
But, one thing that I love and have stuck with for over 26 years though, is silver.
Thanks to my Mama , I have loved silver jewelry my entire life. When I was a little girl she used to wear an arm-load of silver bracelets that I was absolutely fascinated with. I still have two of those from my childhood.
When I married Big Daddy
and had a home of my own, I began another collection of silver . Mostly, I have concentrated on old silver serving pieces.
We actually use them mall over the house.
I use round silver platters as chargers.
I have several large silver trays around my home
and little silver creamers
I think they are my favorite.
Then there’s this
I’m not sure what it is
But I love it !
And I use silver bowels to corral my Smalls at sales and markets.
Not a single thing in my collection was purchased new. They all came from thrift stores and yard sales. And none were over five bucks!

Your silver pieces are just lovely! I have a few and keep thinking I am going polish them for a different look.
I love the way you use your silver pieces! I see them all the time at sales but so afraid of trying to keep them clean! I love your whatchamacallit! It is darling!
