I have waited a LONG time for this one.
I have wanted a drum table for years! Even before I ever thought about chalk painting one. I love them because they are unusual and classic all at the same time. This particular one wasn’t either of those things when I found it.

Loose veneer and missing a toe cap, but I could not get it in my Jeep fast enough .
Ruff. Really rough shape. Now I have learned a thing or several since I’ve been on this little adventure. One of the big lessons I’ve picked up along the way? If
it’s this rough and a good price, just go with it.
So I did.
I used Americana Decor chalk paint in Everlasting. This was my first time using this color and I really like this white. It not overly bright or sterile. For a pure white it’s quite warm.
Perfect on a porch.
And I’m really happy that I did! I absolutely love this little table on my porch! I might even sand the top down even more. It just seems to go with my house.
I picked up this little silver creamer today at Salvation Army for $4.
Rhododendron is another favorite of mine. They are plentiful in Western North Carolina.

I know you do! I don't know about where you live but they are pricey here. That's what took me so long to cave .
I too have been looking for one of those tables. Craig's had one, but I didn't act fast enough. Love yours next to that black rocker. Lovely!

I love your table! I did not know till this post that the table is called a drum table. I have one and it is being used in my son's room, in it's original state. I might have to steal it and paint it!
